2 Cent Piece 1864 - 1873

1907-1933-$20-St.-Gaudens-Double-Eagle-Gold-Coin
All of the 2 cent pieces were minted exclusively in Philadelphia. The last year this coin was minted, it was only minted in proof condition. It was the first US coin to feature the "Motto" the words "In God We Trust" which would appear on every US coin. 

Large Cent 1793 - 1857

One of the very first US Coins minted, the series began in 1793, with numerous varieties minted with minor design changes. Production ended in 1857.

Flying Eagle Cent 1856 - 1858

$10-1907-1933-Indian-Head-Eagle

The Flying Eagle coin was minted only from 1856-1858 and only at the Philadelphia mint. The first year 1856 is quite rare, with only 2,000 minted.

Indian Cent 1860 - 1864

$10-Liberty-Head-Gold-Coin

The image, while appearing like a Native American, is actually Miss Liberty in an Indian headdress. Designer James Longacre.

  • Variety 1 contained .880 Copper and .120 Nickel 19mm minted only in Philadelphia.
  • Variety 2 same specifications as Variety one with the addition of the shield in the design 1860-1864
  • Variety 3 .950 Copper .05 tin zinc 1864-1909 sizes remained the same as Varieties 1 and 2.
